About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable Multi-Activity Camp Leader to deliver fun, safe, and engaging holiday camp sessions for children of varying ages and abilities. The successful candidate will lead a range of sports, games, and creative activities while ensuring every child has a positive and enjoyable experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has strong leadership skills, and can create an inclusive and exciting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise groups of children throughout camp activities.

• Deliver a variety of sports, games, team-building, and enrichment activities.

• Ensure all activities are safe, engaging, and age-appropriate.

• Encourage participation, teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour.

• Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.

• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child welfare at all times.

• Follow health and safety procedures and risk assessments.

• Support children of all abilities and create an inclusive environment.

• Communicate professionally with parents, carers, and team members.

• Assist with registration, lunch supervision, and daily camp operations.

 

Skills & Experience

• Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, childcare, or camp environment.

• Confident leading group activities and managing behaviour positively.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Energetic, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.

• Ability to think creatively and adapt activities when needed.

• Organised and reliable with good time management.

 

Desirable Qualifications

• Coaching qualification (any sport) (desirable but not essential)

• At least one year teaching, teaching assistant, childcare, or youth work experience

• First Aid qualification

• Safeguarding certification

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
